The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) participated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Cambodia Association of Securities Firms (CASF) and the Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC), positioning the agreement as a step to deepen cooperation in Cambodia’s securities market and support investor confidence and sustainable financing. Alongside the MoU signing, SERC and other consortium members of the Cambodia Sustainable Bond Promotion (CSBA) programme, including the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), launched “CSBA Phase III” in cooperation with the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF), GuarantCo, and CGCC. The new phase is intended to provide technical assistance for the issuance of green, sustainability, and sustainability-linked bonds to help finance projects aligned with Cambodia’s climate priority plans, including initiatives supporting sustainability and future carbon-neutral projects.
