The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority has published feedback confirming that it completed its consideration of industry and public comments on five standards under the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, 2021. The standards cover capital adequacy, solvency and liquidity requirements, registration of regulated entities, supervisory actions, outsourcing and fair treatment of customers. The authority has organized the representations and its responses by chapter of the act. Updated versions of the standards, together with explanations of how comments were addressed, are available on its website and will be circulated to industry participants.
