The Central Bank of Russia has extended for another six months from Oct. 1, 2026, restrictions on fund transfers from individuals’ and legal entities’ accounts with Russian brokers and trust managers. The controls have been in place since April 1, 2022, and are being maintained to support financial stability. The restrictions do not apply to foreign investors, or persons acting on their behalf, when repatriating funds recorded in In-type accounts and invested in the Russian financial market.

The Central Bank of Russia will extend restrictions on fund transfers from individuals’ and legal entities’ brokerage and trust management accounts for six months from Oct. 1, 2026. Foreign investors may repatriate funds held in In-type accounts and invested in the Russian financial market.
