The Central Bank of Paraguay reported that its BCP Educa initiative reached 6,021 people through economic and financial education activities in 2025. The year-end update points to a program focused on basic financial knowledge, capacity building and informed decision-making, delivered through multiple formats to widen participation across the country. Training activities reached 91 institutions across the education, social and public sectors and benefited 4,940 people, including 4,090 participants in person and 850 online. Two economic and financial education fairs in Asuncion and Caacupe drew 870 upper secondary students for practical instruction on responsible use of financial resources. The seventh annual central banking competition, Comprometidos con la Educacion, involved 167 third-year secondary students and 44 teacher tutors, produced 74 video submissions and resulted in 108 recognition certificates.
