The Bank of France’s Financial Sector Consultative Committee (CCSF) has submitted its 2024/2025 annual report to the President of the Republic and Parliament, setting out the committee’s work programme following the renewal of its membership and a series of projects requested by the Minister for the Economy and Finance. A central deliverable was the first report of the Financial Savings Products Observatory (Observatoire des produits d’épargne financière, OPEF), a new mission assigned to the CCSF by the Green Industry Law of 23 October 2023. The OPEF report analyses the performance, fees and characteristics of the main savings products available in France. The annual report also references work on the status of individual entrepreneurs, funeral insurance contracts, and how customers experience obligations linked to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements. The CCSF chair indicated that the committee will continue its work in the coming months.
