The Insurance Supervision Institute of Mozambique (ISSM) held its annual meeting in Marracuene, Maputo Province, to take stock of the institution’s activities and set out priorities for the year ahead. The session reviewed the 2021 activity report and discussed the 2022 activity plan and outlook. The meeting was opened by ISSM Board Chair Otília Santos, with executive board members, the Chair of the Fiscal Council and staff in attendance. ISSM reported that the presentations were followed by debate, and that subsequent activities were held under COVID-19 protection and prevention measures. Santos called for improved communication and stronger staff commitment to achieving institutional targets.
