The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has updated its AML/CFT Handbook to reference the Isle of Man Government’s newly published National Risk Appetite Statement (NRAS) and to guide relevant persons on where it should be considered in the course of their business activities. The NRAS focuses on the eGaming sector and related industries and was produced in response to an evolving threat landscape, particularly serious and organised crime in East and Southeast Asia. The revised Handbook links to the NRAS Frequently Asked Questions and updates the Business Risk Assessment guidance in section 2.2.8.

The NRAS addresses risks in the eGaming sector and related industries, particularly concerning serious and organised crime in East and Southeast Asia. The Handbook now includes links to NRAS FAQs and revised Business Risk Assessment guidance.
