Norway's Department of Finance has published a consultation proposal to amend the Financial Institutions Act rules on use of the crisis measures fund, setting out how assistance from the Banks' Guarantee Fund to Finanstilsynet in its role as crisis management authority should be financed. The proposal, prepared by Finanstilsynet in cooperation with the Banks' Guarantee Fund, would fund this assistance by earmarking a portion of financial institutions’ annual contributions to the crisis measures fund for that purpose. Norway's Department of Finance has proposed amendments to the Financial Institutions Act regarding the use of the crisis measures fund.
