The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), through the Center of InsurTech, Thailand, published a post-event update reporting the successful delivery of InsurTech Summit 2025, held on 29 October 2025 in Bangkok. The second annual summit drew more than 300 participants from regulators, insurers, insurance brokers and technology startups to exchange views on innovation trends and build business networks. In opening remarks, OIC Secretary-General Chuchart Pramulpol linked the sector’s innovation agenda to emerging challenges including climate risk and population ageing, and framed OIC’s role under its ‘From Regulation to Collaboration’ vision as moving beyond rule-setting to acting as an enabler and “regulatory partner”. The update pointed to ongoing work to make the regulatory sandbox more agile, develop AI governance guidance, and build digital infrastructure such as the OIC Gateway and Open Insurance. It also highlighted panel discussions, an exhibition with more than 30 participating insurance and technology firms, and business-matching activity intended to translate insurer demand and startup solutions into future collaborations.
