The National Credit Union Administration liquidated African Diaspora Federal Credit Union in Missouri after determining that it was insolvent, had violated numerous provisions of the Federal Credit Union Act and NCUA regulations, and was operating in an unsafe and unsound manner. Member deposits remain federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund for at least USD 250,000. The NCUA’s Asset Management and Assistance Center will contact holders of verified share accounts within one week. The credit union reported 183 members and USD 547,479 in assets in its most recent Call Report.
