The National Bank of Serbia published its latest inflation expectations survey results, showing that the financial sector’s one-year expectation remained at 3.5% in August, within the central bank’s target band. Its medium-term expectation held at the 3.0% target midpoint, while the September Bloomberg survey showed short-term expectations easing to 3.8% from 3.9% in August. Corporate short-term expectations remained at 5.0% for a fifth consecutive month. Two-year expectations fell to 4.4% from 5.0%, while three-year expectations declined to 4.7%. Household short- and medium-term expectations were unchanged at 10%.
