The Institute of International Bankers (IIB) issued a statement congratulating Jonathan Gould on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate to serve as Comptroller of the Currency. IIB Chief Executive Officer Beth Zorc highlighted Gould’s prior experience at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, service on the Senate Banking Committee, and private-sector work, and said the association looks forward to engaging with him on issues affecting the U.S. operations of international banks.
