The Authority confirmed it has not issued any licence to Coinmint and that no companies with those names appear on the Bermuda Register of Companies. The BMA advised the public to verify licensing status against its online list of regulated entities and cautioned that doing business with unregulated entities carries increased risk, particularly where licensing claims are false. Coinmint has been added to the Authority’s warning list of known unauthorised firms and individuals.
