The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has published analytical data on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s foreign currency reserves and foreign currency liquidity as at the end of January 2026, using the International Monetary Fund’s Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity under the Special Data Dissemination Standard. The HKMA noted it issues four Exchange Fund data press releases each month, including three releases for IMF SDDS monetary data dissemination and a separate release on the Exchange Fund’s abridged balance sheet and the Currency Board Account under its transparency policy. For February 2026, the SDDS international reserves figures were issued on 6 February and the SDDS analytical accounts of the Exchange Fund on 13 February, with the SDDS reserves and liquidity template and the Exchange Fund abridged balance sheet and Currency Board Account scheduled for 27 February.
