The European Fund and Asset Management Association published its global investment fund statistics for the second quarter of 2026, reporting a 10% increase in worldwide net assets to EUR 89.7 trillion. In U.S. dollar terms, assets rose 9% to USD 102.2 trillion. Global equity fund assets increased 15.7%, supported by equity market performance, continued investment in artificial intelligence and improving investor sentiment. Worldwide long-term funds attracted net inflows of EUR 708 billion, up from EUR 668 billion in the first quarter. Bond fund inflows climbed to EUR 474 billion, while equity fund inflows declined to EUR 124 billion and multi-asset fund inflows fell to EUR 47 billion. Exchange-traded funds drew EUR 562 billion, led by EUR 467 billion in the United States, while money market fund inflows increased to EUR 178 billion.
