Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency, SIPEN, announced its participation in the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic’s 11th Economic and Financial Week 2025, an initiative linked to Global Money Week, to support the Central Bank’s Aula Central financial education programme. During the week, SIPEN will operate the “Tu Futuro” stand to provide information on the Dominican Pension System and will deliver two student trainings titled “What I should know about my pension” on 20 and 21 March from 16:00 to 17:00. At the opening ceremony, Central Bank governor Héctor Valdez Albizu highlighted that the event will, for the first time, add a southern extension at the Perelló Cultural Centre in Baní, Peravia province, on 19 March, and that participation has risen to 51 collaborating entities.
