The Central Bank of Latvia's Supervision Committee has granted Hodleris SIA a licence to provide crypto-asset services. The authorisation covers custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients, exchange of crypto-assets for funds, exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets, and transfer services for crypto-assets on behalf of clients. Issued under the European Union Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, the licence allows Hodleris to offer these services across the EU through the cross-border notification mechanism. Hodleris is the ninth company authorised by the Central Bank of Latvia since the EU's unified legal framework for the crypto-asset sector took effect. For prospective applicants, the central bank pointed to its licensing guides and pre-licensing consultations, which set out application requirements, documentation and review timelines, and provide an initial assessment of compliance with regulatory requirements.
