The Portuguese Securities Commission (CMVM) announced it will participate for the ninth consecutive year in World Investor Week, the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) initiative running from 6 to 10 October 2025, and set out the Portugal-wide programme aimed at improving financial literacy. In Portugal, activities will be delivered by twelve partner organisations, with a central feature being a Financial Literacy Course comprising thematic sessions covering capital markets, banking, insurance, financial innovation, and fraud and cybersecurity. Sessions will be free of charge and available both in person at the CMVM auditorium and online, with viewing options including live participation and on-demand access via the World Investor Week YouTube channel.
