The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation has announced that Open Supply Hub, Wikimedia Deutschland and Wikirate International have joined its Global Open Data Integration Network, or GODIN. The additions raise GODIN's membership to 11 organizations and broaden the network's use cases in supply chain transparency, open knowledge, sustainability and ESG reporting. GODIN, launched in 2025, is designed to improve interoperability across open data ecosystems by linking datasets through trusted identifiers and recognized standards, with the Legal Entity Identifier at the center of that approach. The new members extend GODIN's practical reach through large open data infrastructures in different domains. Open Supply Hub contributes a global supply chain map covering more than 2.5 million production locations. Wikimedia Deutschland brings expertise from Wikidata, a structured data source used by Wikipedia and thousands of external applications with more than 120 million entries. Wikirate International adds an open data platform used to collect, share and compare corporate social and environmental performance data. GLEIF said the network is intended to improve transparency and data usability without requiring centralized ownership of datasets.
