The Bank of the Lao PDR published an update on a courtesy visit by a Bank of Korea (BOK) delegation, focused on reviewing the outcomes of the 2024 Bank of Korea–Knowledge Partnership Programme (BOK-KPP) and discussing plans for continued cooperation. Deputy Governor Sulisak Thanouvong received Jaesung Hur, senior adviser at Chung-Ang University and former deputy governor of BOK, alongside Junseo Park and other delegates. The meeting covered future collaboration under BOK-KPP and broader bilateral technical assistance intended to support development of the Lao banking sector, with the Bank of the Lao PDR expressing appreciation for BOK’s support and emphasising staff capacity-building.
