Argentina Superintendency of Insurance (SSN) amended point 37.6 of the RGAA to add further insurance lines to the mandatory reporting of policy issuances and endorsements through the Policy Issuance Information System (SIEP). From 1 January 2026, insurers must report the issuance of all policies and endorsements for the in-scope lines within 24 hours of issuance and complete an initial upload of all policies in force and all endorsements as at that date. The existing obligation to report policies and endorsements for Motor, Motorcycles, Civil Liability for vehicles used in public passenger transport, Surety and Credits remains in place as set out in Resolution 690/2022. SSN referenced Resolution 464/2025 as the instrument that introduced a broader reform of SIEP and pointed firms to the SIEP Technical Manual on its website for the operational and technical requirements for submitting data.

Argentina Superintendency of Insurance expands mandatory 24-hour policy and endorsement reporting via SIEP from 1 January 2026
The Argentina Superintendency of Insurance (SSN) amended point 37.6 of the RGAA to expand mandatory reporting through the Policy Issuance Information System (SIEP) to more insurance lines. From 1 January 2026, insurers must report all policy issuances and endorsements within 24 hours and complete an initial upload of all in-force policies and endorsements. Existing reporting obligations for specific lines, as per Resolution 690/2022, remain unchanged.
