The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau announced that the Financial Secretary, under authority delegated by the Chief Executive, has appointed three new Convenors and seven new members to the Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP) and reappointed one incumbent member for a three-year term running from 16 July 2025 to 15 July 2028. The new Convenors are Paul Donald Hebditch, Eric Tang Ying-cheung and Tang Yiu-chung. The new members are Fanny Hsiang Yuet-ming, Alexander Kaung Wai-ming, Lam Chi-ki, Carrie Lau Kar-yee, Jason Li Jiasheng, Ng Chun-man and Elza Yuen Wai-yiu, and Jacob Lee Chi-hin was reappointed. The appointments were made under the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council Ordinance, with the FRRP described as supporting the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council’s statutory enquiries into non-compliance in listed entities’ financial reports. When an enquiry case arises, the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council may appoint one Convenor and four or more FRRP members to form a Financial Reporting Review Committee, which will submit an enquiry report to the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council for consideration and any follow-up action.

The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau has appointed three new Convenors and seven new members to the Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP) for a three-year term starting 16 July 2025. These appointments, under the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council Ordinance, support statutory enquiries into non-compliance in listed entities’ financial reports. The FRRP assists the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council by forming committees to submit enquiry reports for consideration and follow-up action.
