It does not operate any WhatsApp communication channel and does not usually contact individual members of the public proactively. The alert points users to HKICL’s official website at https://www.hkicl.com.hk, urges the public to remain vigilant about suspicious calls, websites and other communications, and advises anyone who suspects fraud to verify the communication with HKICL and report the matter to the Police.
