The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved three individuals for senior roles in the insurance sector, spanning executive management and board positions. G.A. Buribayeva was approved as head of the executive body, head of the governing body, and a member of the governing body (protocol No. 290/СО dated 26 March 2026). A.K. Aitimov was approved as a member of the board of directors and as an independent director (protocol No. 291/СО/Т dated 26 March 2026). T.B. Sagimbayev was approved as a member of the executive body (protocol No. 292/СО/Т dated 30 March 2026). The agency also noted that, subject to meeting the qualification requirements under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activities, an individual who already has regulatory consent to take a senior role can be transferred within the same sector to a similar role without additional consent, and that existing consents are available via the insurance sector register of permits and notifications.

The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved three individuals for senior roles in the insurance sector, including executive and board positions. It also clarified that, subject to qualification requirements under the Law on Insurance Activities, individuals with existing regulatory consent may be transferred within the sector to similar senior roles without additional consent, with such consents recorded in the insurance sector register.
