The National Bank of Moldova has initiated work on a draft Executive Committee decision to approve preparatory measures for applying the EU framework that sets the details and structure of payment services information that competent authorities must notify to the European Banking Authority. The project is presented as part of Moldova’s commitments as an EU candidate country under the 2025–2029 National Programme for accession to the European Union. It is intended to enable application, at the date of EU accession, of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/410, which establishes implementing technical standards for the notification of payment services information under the revised Payment Services Directive (Directive (EU) 2015/2366). Opinions, proposals and recommendations on the draft are requested by 10 April 2026.
