The Islamic Financial Services Board announced that its 2025 Annual Meetings, including the 46th Council Meeting and 23rd General Assembly, will be hosted by Bank Al-Maghrib in Rabat, Morocco, from 1 to 3 July 2025. The programme of side events includes the 23rd Islamic Financial Stability Forum on addressing structural vulnerabilities and building resilience in Islamic finance, a Credit Rating Agencies Forum on transparency and market confidence, experience-sharing sessions featuring IFSB member presentations, the 2nd IFSB Consultative Group Meeting on the IFSB’s ongoing work and emerging regulatory priorities, and two industry workshops covering liquidity risk management, corporate governance, and Shari’ah governance frameworks. The Council Meeting and General Assembly will be chaired by Abdellatif Jouahri, Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib and IFSB Chairman for 2025, convening central bank governors, regulatory and supervisory agency heads, international organisations, and industry leaders to discuss the IFSB’s strategic direction and ongoing work. The IFSB noted that media will be invited to attend and cover press conferences and side events.
