The order brings the number of abusive websites blocked by IVASS to 331 since it began exercising its website-blocking powers in November 2023. IVASS also warned consumers to be cautious of policy offers arranged via instant messaging such as WhatsApp or via phone text, and of requests to pay using prepaid credit cards, and to check sellers against IVASS’s official lists of supervised intermediaries and insurance undertakings.
