The Arab Monetary Fund has published its 2024 Annual Report, approved by its Board of Governors, summarising the Fund’s financial and technical activities and setting out new strategic directions and recent updates to its organisational structure. The report covers financial assistance provided to several member countries and the delivery of specialised technical advice, studies and economic analysis. It also reports 75 training programmes in 2024 with more than 2,336 participants, highlights the Buna regional payments platform for cross-border payments that connects Arab banking systems with global partners, and notes that the Arab Trade Financing Program funded transactions totalling approximately USD 1.033 billion during the year.
