The National Bank of Serbia published operational statistics for January 2025 covering its RTGS system, Clearing System, Interbank Foreign Exchange Clearing System and International Foreign Exchange Clearing System, including payment volumes, turnover values and system availability. Across 20 working days, 16.2 million payments were processed in the RTGS and Clearing systems, with 15.0 million (92.6%) in RTGS and 1.2 million (7.4%) in the Clearing System. RTGS turnover totalled RSD 20,701.9bn versus RSD 28.9bn in the Clearing System (0.1% of total value), with average daily turnover of RSD 1,035.1bn and RSD 1.4bn respectively. The RTGS and Clearing systems recorded no downtime over 11,100 minutes of production time, resulting in 100.0% availability; the two foreign exchange clearing systems, with 23 participants, processed EUR 107,936,901.06 of transactions and also reported 100.0% availability.
