The Angola Capital Markets Commission published its June 2026 capital markets report, showing that BODIVA trading volume rose 9.37% from May and 9.98% from a year earlier to AOA 494.72 billion. The increase was driven by an 84% monthly rise in repo market activity, while other market segments contracted. The number of trades declined 0.96% from May to 4,132 but was 69.69% higher year over year. Non-indexed Treasury bonds accounted for 83.74% of regulated-market volume, followed by foreign currency Treasury bonds at 15.22%. Market capitalization fell 3.96% to AOA 4,091.37 billion as shares in four of the five listed companies other than BODIVA declined. Trading involved 1,851 investors, up 20.66% from May, while 1,333 new central securities depository accounts were opened, an increase of 38.85%. The collective investment undertaking sector comprised 66 vehicles, with global net asset value rising 2.55% from May and 56.94% year over year to AOA 1,907.24 billion. Its investment portfolio increased 5.28% to AOA 1,845.26 billion, with real estate assets representing 54.70% of the total.
