The Bermuda Monetary Authority has issued an updated Personal Declaration (PD) Form to be completed for proposed director and officer appointments under the Insurance Act 1978 and the Investment Funds Act 2006, with changes intended to strengthen fit and proper due diligence for these appointments. The updated PD on BMA letterhead is available via the Authority’s website for both insurance and investment funds. The revised PD takes effect immediately, and the BMA will not accept previous versions of the PD or any variation of the PD after 1 January 2026.

The Bermuda Monetary Authority has released an updated Personal Declaration Form for director and officer appointments under the Insurance Act 1978 and the Investment Funds Act 2006 to enhance due diligence. The revised form is available on the Authority's website and is effective immediately, with previous versions no longer accepted after 1 January 2026.
