The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM), in partnership with Fenasbac, announced LEAP Connect 2026, an event on 7 May 2026 at CVM’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro focused on the convergence of regulation, technology and capital markets business development. The programme will present the results of the first edition of LEAP, CVM’s Laboratory for Experimentation, Learning and Prototyping. LEAP Connect will showcase solutions developed in the 2025 LEAP cycle, with finalist teams presenting prototypes covering areas such as regulatory automation, artificial intelligence applied to market supervision, sustainability reporting, infrastructure for the carbon market and solutions for the secondary market in crowdfunding. The agenda also includes the launch of the LEAP Report, consolidating reports, metrics and lessons from the first cycle, and a panel discussing recent regulatory changes and the impact of accelerated projects. The event will also mark the launch of the LEAP 2026 cycle, including the announcement of new challenge themes and the opening of applications for the next edition. Attendance is limited and curated, with registration subject to approval and prioritised for strategic CVM staff, financial sector leaders and startups with high potential to collaborate with the regulator.
