The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority hosted a courtesy visit on 14 August 2025 from senior executives of Egypt’s ARCORP Holdings to discuss potential collaboration on modern projects aimed at improving efficiency and expanding access to insurance services in Tanzania. The visit took place at TIRA’s Dar es Salaam sub-office, where the delegation met the Insurance Commissioner, Dr Baghayo A. Saqware, and other senior officials. ARCORP also held discussions with the Association of Tanzania Insurers (ATI) on opportunities to use technology to enhance insurance service delivery and increase public awareness. The company indicated it is engaging with other national stakeholders, including the Tanzania Police Force, the Immigration Department, and the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA), to support coordinated implementation of its initiatives in the country. TIRA signalled it will continue working with investors as part of its efforts to keep Tanzania’s insurance market safe, stable, and beneficial to the public.
