Peru's Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Fund Administrators has ordered the dissolution of the Level 1 savings and credit cooperative Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Integraperu and issued a notice to member-depositors on access to deposit protection. Deposits are covered by the Cooperative Deposit Insurance Fund up to a maximum of PEN 5,000 per depositor, in line with Law No. 30822 and SBS Resolution No. 5061-2008 as amended. The date and the financial system firm through which member-depositors can collect the insured amount will be announced in the coming days via the Cooperative Deposit Insurance Fund and SBS websites.
