The Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) announced the appointment of Helena Gottschling to its Board of Directors as an Independent Director, effective July 2, 2025. Gottschling is the former Chief Human Resources Officer at RBC, where she led global human resources and served on the bank’s Group Executive until retiring in 2022. She replaces Janet Woodruff, who resigned from the CIRO board after serving on CIRO’s inaugural Board and previously on the Board of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada, a predecessor to CIRO.
