Mexico's National Banking and Securities Commission has published its quarterly report on financial savings and financing, together with a public database containing figures through December 2025. The release shows that total financial savings in Mexico, including domestic and external savings, stood at MXN 34.7 trillion, equivalent to 95.6 percent of gross domestic product, while total financing reached MXN 36.7 trillion, or 101.1 percent of GDP. The database provides detailed information on the components of financial savings, including intermediary deposits, holdings of fixed income securities and trust certificates, and external savings. On the financing side, it covers loan portfolios, domestic debt issuance and trust certificates, and external financing. Domestic financing to the private sector amounted to 38.4 percent of GDP in December 2025.
