The Albania Financial Services Authority’s Board approved the authority’s 2026 budget and a medium-term budget projection for 2026–2028, alongside a set of decisions affecting insurers, insurance intermediaries and key control functions. The decisions included approving an audit firm to audit the Albanian Insurance Bureau’s financial statements for the financial year ending 31 December 2025, authorising Atlantik-Shoqëri Sigurimi to expand its activity into additional insurance classes, and approving changes to senior management and governance at Vienna Life Insurance-Vienna Sigurim Jetë and IFIS Broker. The Board also renewed the licences of authorised actuaries, withdrew (at the firm’s request) Banka OTP Albania’s licence to act as an insurance agent in non-life classes, and approved an application to carry out insurance agent activity.
