The Central Bank of Russia published its latest Monitoring of Businesses update, indicating that growth in business activity slowed in June as the Business Climate Index fell to 2.9 points from 4.8 in May. Current estimates of output and demand were below May levels and companies’ short-term expectations became more moderate. Companies’ price expectations continued to decline for the sixth consecutive month.
