The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) participated in the first Digital Bond Market Forum in Seoul and shared an update on Cambodia’s work to draft regulation to supervise digital asset business. The forum, held on 10 February 2025 and co-organised by the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance, Yonsei University and the Asian Development Bank, focused on regional developments in digital assets and digital bonds, including trends, challenges, business models for regional adoption, and the legal and regulatory frameworks needed. Participation included ministries of economy and finance, central banks, securities regulators, financial market associations, financial institutions and other bodies from ASEAN+3 member states.
