The Executive Board of Sweden's Riksbank has appointed Anders Gånge as acting head of the Markets Department, replacing Heidi Elmér, who is leaving to become CEO of PP Pension. Gånge will assume the role on 9 July. Gånge has been deputy head of the Markets Department since 2017 and previously worked at Kommuninvest as head of funding and treasury, following earlier roles as an interest rate and derivatives trader at several banks. Elmér has led the Markets Department since 2014. Recruitment of a permanent head of the Markets Department will begin after the summer.
