The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has released the June edition of its Update podcast, giving an overview of recent developments across its sustainability and financial reporting agenda. Rather than announcing a single new measure, the update consolidates current workstreams and published materials, including the EFRAG 25th anniversary conference report, new appointments to EFRAG bodies and an assessment report on the voluntary information template for SMEs and startups at the European Single Access Point. The update also reviews ongoing consultations on amendments to International Accounting Standard 28 and on risk mitigation accounting proposals. On sustainability reporting, it covers work on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards for groups outside the European Union, alongside a new webinar series and a field test call for interest, and it points to EFRAG comment letters on proposals from global standard setters.
