The Inter Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa has published a call for expressions of interest for the ECOWAS Centre for Gender Development to select an anglophone program assistant under an individual consultant arrangement. The role supports the centre’s program division in planning, coordinating and implementing programs and projects across ECOWAS member states. The position is based in Dakar, Senegal, is full time, runs for one year with possible renewal subject to funding and performance, and carries remuneration of USD 12,000 per year. The assignment covers program and administrative support, including preparing supporting documents for expense settlements, drafting terms of reference and reports, assisting with English-language technical documents, coordinating correspondence with anglophone member states, maintaining filing systems and databases, and supporting meetings and workshops. Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have at least two years of experience in project or program management, implementation support or administration, with relevant internships eligible to count toward experience. The selection process assigns 30 points to qualifications, 65 points to mission-specific experience and five points to command of ECOWAS official languages, with a minimum passing score of 70 out of 100. Applications are due by July 2, 2026, at 17:00 GMT. The three highest-scoring candidates will be shortlisted and invited for interview.
