The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in Angola’s sixth Annual Conference on Competition and Economic Regulation, organised by the Competition Regulatory Authority, and used the forum to underline cooperation between the two regulators under their 2022 bilateral cooperation protocol. Held in Luanda under the theme “Path to the Consolidation of a Competition Culture in Angola”, the conference brought together public institutions, regulators, economic operators and institutional partners to discuss how competition and economic regulation can support the business environment, market efficiency and a more dynamic, competitive economy. The 2022 protocol is framed around technical exchange, strengthening regulatory capacity, and coordinating actions of mutual interest in economic regulation and market transparency.
