(PPMI) launched Direct Debit PH, InstaPay Cash-In and InstaPay for Business to expand interoperable payment options for individuals and businesses. Direct Debit PH lets customers authorize billers to collect scheduled payments automatically, while InstaPay Cash-In allows one bank or e-wallet user to request funds from another. InstaPay for Business raises the maximum transfer amount for registered businesses tenfold, from PHP 50,000 to PHP 500,000. The authorities also reiterated that QR Ph applies to person-to-merchant payments, with transaction fees borne by merchants, while InstaPay QR covers person-to-person transfers and may carry fees depending on the account used.
