The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) and the Banque de France signed a cooperation agreement on financial literacy aimed at strengthening financial education in Greece through the dissemination of educational materials from the Banque de France’s ABC de l’économie online portal. Under the agreement, the Banque de France grants the HCMC the right to adapt, translate and distribute selected factsheets developed within EDUCFI, the French National Financial Literacy Strategy operated by the Banque de France. The Greek-language materials will be tailored to the Hellenic context while preserving the integrity and educational value of the original content, and the HCMC will carry out adaptations in line with the Banque de France’s moral rights and applicable intellectual property and data protection laws. The original factsheets will remain available on the Banque de France website, and the adapted Greek versions are due to be published by the HCMC in the coming months.
