The UAE Securities & Commodities Authority and the Middle East Investor Relations Association have launched a program to develop Emirati investor relations professionals and strengthen expertise across the country’s capital markets. The long-term initiative targets training more than 100 specialists through internationally recognized qualifications and instruction tailored to the UAE regulatory framework. The program combines the association’s Certified Investor Relations Officer pathway with a specialist UAE financial regulatory module and assessment developed with the authority. The first cohort will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and comprise Emirati professionals from entities supervised by the authority. Training will be delivered through in-person and hybrid formats, with participants able to obtain qualifications recognized internationally in cooperation with the UK Investor Relations Society. The partners will also create a pool of program graduates that listed companies can access, supporting career pathways in investor relations. Details on nominations, applications and participating companies and partner organizations will be announced later.
