Norway's Ministry of Finance announced that the King in Council has decided the new Financial Supervisory Authority Act will enter into force on 1 April 2025 and has delegated to the Ministry, under section 2-2(2) (second and fourth sentences), the King’s authority to appoint members of Finanstilsynet’s board and to designate the chair and deputy chair.

Norway's Ministry of Finance announced that the new Financial Supervisory Authority Act will take effect on 1 April 2025. The King in Council has delegated authority to the Ministry to appoint members of Finanstilsynet’s board and designate the chair and deputy chair.
