Finance Secretary Frederick Go called on businesses to invest and expand across sectors including infrastructure, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, tourism, logistics and digital services. The briefing also highlighted measures intended to reduce business costs and administrative burdens. These include lower Securities and Exchange Commission registration fees, longer validity periods for Bureau of Customs importer accreditation and reduced Bureau of Internal Revenue creditable withholding tax rates for local importers and manufacturers.
