The Central Bank of West African States published a list of 34 institutions authorized to operate as payment institutions in the West African Monetary Union as of Aug. 31, 2026, comprising four in Benin, two in Burkina Faso, 10 in Côte d’Ivoire, one in Guinea-Bissau, two in Mali, one in Niger, 11 in Senegal and three in Togo.
