Rwanda Capital Markets Authority (CMA) partnered with the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) to host the Capital Market Youth Forum 2025 at UNILAK’s Kigali campus as part of the capital market industry’s nationwide roadshows, aiming to embed a culture of saving and informed investment among Rwanda’s youth. Held under the banner “The Next Generation of Investors,” the forum brought together market practitioners to cover the fundamentals of saving and investment and highlight opportunities across Rwanda’s capital-market ecosystem. CMA Strategic Advisor Dr. James Ndahiro linked youth financial empowerment to prudent savings habits and well-researched investment decisions, while UNILAK’s Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management framed the event as a bridge between academic learning and market engagement. The programme combined expert presentations with a question-and-answer session, with participants expressing demand for follow-up activities; CMA positioned the forum and wider Up-Country Roadshows as the backbone of its outreach to equip tertiary-level students to participate in the capital market.
